Musical Mayhem Theatre Academy teaches children aged 3-18 to sing, dance and act, whilst having a lot of fun. The children are given many opportunities throughout the year to perform, and every child is given the opportunity to shine with solo performances. Musical Mayhem is much more than just an after school club. Whilst most Theatre Schools are intent on maximising profits, or nurturing talented performers, the ethos of Musical Mayhem is to build confidence in young people from all walks of life. Children’s Creative Contemporary Dance

Monday 5.45-6.45pm

Contemporary dance is a fantastic way for child to improve fitness, musicality and coordination while developing the creative mind. Using music from many genres, these classes will introduce strong and controlled leg work,  movements of the torso, floor work and improvisation. Each class will also allow time for children to create some of their own choreography.

During bellydancing classes, you can learn to move gracefully and express yourself in a creative way. Adult Musical Theatre Beginners

Wednesdays 7.30-9.00pm

Stage & the City’s beginners Musical Theatre classes are designed for those passionate about performing in a professional, fun, friendly and supportive class atmosphere. Working alongside industry professionals, you will learn medleys from the most memorable musicals such as Les Miserable, Jersey Boys, 42nd Street, Waitress, Mamma Mia & Wicked to name but a few.

You will learn dance and movement to your vocals and create amazing storytelling performances which will then give you the option to perform in one of our many up and coming showcases. You don’t have to be the best singer, dancer or actor, but if you have charisma, a love for musical theatre and of course a love of performing, then this is the class for you.

This Musical Theatre Beginners class is designed for adults who either have some experience in musical theatre or are beginners but are willing to get stuck in for one and a half hours a week.
